Who is OptOffice designed for?
Independent optometry practices with a small team. The project is designed around a single location, one exam lane, rotating doctors and concurrent optical work.
Does optical work wait for the clinical queue?
No. Clinical and optical work use separate queues, so dispensing, pickups and adjustments can move alongside scheduled clinical care.
What about booking and existing systems?
Delivery is staged. Square Appointments continues to handle scheduling until OptOffice booking is released, and Square POS remains the retail system of record. Module availability depends on your practice’s rollout stage.
How does the team access patient information?
OptOffice uses capability-based access and records patient-data reads and writes in audit trails, keeping each team member’s access aligned with their responsibilities.
